As part of the proposed trip, travelers get acquainted with the pearls of the northern Tanzanian region – picturesque lakes, an incredible crater, a volcano, powerful rivers and endless savannahs, where wild life in its pristine beauty is seething.
Day 1
Our journey starts from the city of Arusha.
A guide meets us at the airport, we jump into a jeep and head to Tarangire National Park. The national park is located on the banks of the river of the same name, just a little over a hundred kilometers from Arusha.
During the dry season, the river becomes the only source of moisture for many kilometers around, which causes zebras, gerenuks, oryx, buffalo, waterbucks, gazelles and elephants to flock to its meadows.
The coastal thickets and shade of the trees attract lions and leopards hunting herbivores.
Waterbuck
We will spend the first day on the territory of the park, having lunch in the open air. Our fascinating exploration of the exotic nature of the park of giants will continue until the evening.
Elephants in Tarangire National Park
Dinner and rooms for rest will be provided to us in a comfortable lodge in the town of Karatu.
After a busy day, we will enjoy delicious food and watch the sunset, exchanging impressions and taking photos around the evening fire.
Day 2
After breakfast our safari will continue.
Just seven kilometres from the borders of Tarangire lies Lake Manyara , which Ernest Hemingway described as “the most beautiful lake I have seen in Africa”.
A picnic lunch on the lake shore will give us the opportunity to recuperate before continuing our safari in Tanzania and take a couple of selfies against the backdrop of a brutal jeep.

The lake, open coastline, adjacent rocky cliffs and dense forests are part of the Lake Manyara Biosphere Reserve, which covers a total of over 330 square kilometres.
The Bird Park, as Manyara is unofficially called, is home to birds such as:
Flamingo
Pelicans
Cormorants
Ibises
In the evening we go to dinner at a lodge in the city of Karatu.
A hot dinner and rest in cozy rooms – what could be better after a bright day.
Day 3
In the morning after a delicious breakfast we set off to Lake Natron.
The road ahead will be long and bumpy, but for this we will be rewarded with a meeting with an amazing lake and volcano.
The lush landscapes are reminiscent of alien worlds: the water surface is covered with a red-pink salt crust, and the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano can be seen in the distance. Despite the first impression of lifelessness, three-quarters of the world’s population of lesser flamingos nest here, and the waters are populated by microorganisms and endemic fish.
Ol Doinyo Lengai
We will spend the whole day on an exciting safari, stopping only for a picnic.
Incredible flocks of lesser flamingos against the backdrop of a beautiful, yet rather dangerous lake are an unforgettable sight. This is the perfect place for unique shots.
Lake Natron
In the evening, a fresh dinner and rest after a long day awaits us at the lodge, located near the lake.
While relaxing by the fire, we will listen to the stories of the guide, who will tell us many interesting facts about the local area.
Day 4
Today we will wake up early to enjoy the unearthly sunrise on the lake shore.
After that we will have breakfast and go for a walk along the shore, and also go on an excursion to a magnificent waterfall.
After a picnic lunch, it’s time to hit the road to the park featured in many BBC and Discovery Channel films – the Serengeti Nature Reserve.
The Great Migration
The park’s vast expanses have gained worldwide fame thanks to the Great Migration, when herds of thousands of ungulates follow the annual rain schedule in search of lush pastures.
The power of the ancient instincts that drive the huge herds of zebras and wildebeest is so great that neither crocodile-infested rivers nor any other obstacles can stop them.

In the evening, after an exciting trip, we will arrive at an authentic lodge located right in the middle of the park.
Dinner and relaxation by the fire with a blazing sunset as the backdrop will be a wonderful end to the day.
Day 5
After breakfast we will continue exploring the exotic reserve.
The Serengeti offers something for everyone. Some will enjoy meeting animals familiar from The Lion King and wildlife channels, while others will be captivated by watching lions, cheetahs and hyenas stalking herbivores.

We have a picnic planned for lunch, after which the safari will continue until the evening.
Before sunset we will return back to the lodge, where a hot dinner and clean bedding will be waiting for us.
Safari in Serengeti
Day 6
After breakfast and a morning safari through the Serengeti Park, we head to perhaps the most unique reserve in Africa.
Ngorongoro National Park, located in the Giant Craters Highlands region, is home to the largest hollow caldera on the planet.
Tourists in front of the Ngorongoro Crater
On this day we will have a safari through the national park without visiting the crater. After all, the park has something to show without it.
After a short stop for lunch, we continue our journey.
The park’s distinctive feature is the highest density of predators in all of Africa – lions and leopards hunt here for elands, wildebeest, gazelles, buffalos, and zebras. Elephants rest in the shade of acacias, and hippos splash in the lakes.
Later in the evening we will visit a village of the Maasai tribe . The amazing rituals and traditions that we will be invited to join are a source of positive impressions and unique shots.
Ngorongoro Crater with a small part of its inhabitants
After a varied day, it’s time for us to head to the lodge in the town of Karatu.
Here they will prepare a delicious dinner for us, and the slowly crackling fire and the sounds of the savannah falling asleep will set us up for sleep.
Day 7
Today we get up early, because we have an unusual day ahead of us.
We will descend into the legendary Ngorongoro crater.
In a natural basin formed several million years ago after the collapse of a volcanic crater, a characteristic microclimate that varies with altitude was formed.
At the bottom of the crater are alkaline lakes and freshwater springs surrounded by grassland and acacia forests, while on the slopes there are shrub savannas and remnants of evergreen tropics.
After an amazing journey through the crater, we will have a picnic near the lake at the bottom of the crater.
Hippopotamus poses for tourists
The lake is home to hippos and we will have a great opportunity for a photo shoot against the backdrop of a safari jeep and giant hippos.
After lunch we will continue our safari in Tanzania gradually moving towards the exit. We still have many exciting scenes to see.
In the afternoon it’s time to head back to Arusha where we’ll be transferred to the airport.
This is where our journey ends.
